Orbubble

Privacy Policy

Effective: 9/27/2026 · Version 1.0

Privacy Policy

Ongil ("we", "us", or "the Company") operates the mobile bubble shooter game Orbubble ("the Service"). We respect your privacy and have prepared this Privacy Policy in accordance with applicable laws.

The Service has no sign-up or login and does not collect information that directly identifies you such as your name, email address, or phone number. However, the following information is processed to serve ads, analyze the Service, tune game settings remotely, provide a leaderboard, and save your game progress.

1. Information We Process

Collected automatically

  • Advertising identifiers: iOS Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and Android Advertising ID (GAID) — only where you have allowed it.
  • Device & app information: device model, OS version, app version, language/country (approximate region), and a per-installation instance identifier (Firebase installation ID).
  • Usage information (in-app events): level start / clear / fail / quit, stars and score, play time, item use and grants, hearts running out and refills, ad views and rewards, tutorial hints shown, settings changes (sound, language), and progress resets. Events contain only level numbers, counts and categories — no information that identifies you.

Apple Game Center (iOS, leaderboard)

  • If you are signed in to Game Center on your device, the game submits your best record (your highest cleared level combined with your score on that level) to the Game Center leaderboard orbubble.level_rank.
  • The in-game leaderboard shows the top 20 players and your own entry with their Game Center nickname, rank and score, as provided by Game Center.
  • Your Game Center account and nickname are managed by Apple; we do not store them.

Stored & synced on your device (game progress)

  • Cleared levels and stars, unlocked level, best leaderboard record, item counts and item-hint flags, hearts (lives), ad-frequency counters, and sound/music/language settings.
  • On iOS, the game progress (stars, unlocked level, best record, items) is stored and synced via Apple iCloud (Key-Value storage) under your own Apple account. On Android it stays on the device.
  • Game progress is not stored on our servers, and we do not access it.

2. Purposes

  • To provide and operate the game
  • To display ads and measure ad performance
  • To analyze usage and improve level difficulty and quality
  • To adjust game settings such as ad frequency and reward amounts without an app update (remote config)
  • To provide the leaderboard
  • To sync game progress across your devices

3. Third-Party Services (Processors)

We use the following third-party services, each of which processes information under its own privacy policy.

4. Advertising Identifiers, Consent and Personalized Ads

We show ads through Google AdMob: rewarded ads (you choose to watch one and receive a reward such as items, hearts or extra shots) and interstitial ads (shown at intervals between level results). We do not use banner ads.

  • Personalized ads and the use of advertising identifiers happen only with your consent. On iOS, personalized ads and ad-related data collection (Firebase's ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization consent signals) are enabled only if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt and the Google UMP consent form (shown in regions such as the EEA and the UK) allows ad requests. Otherwise these signals are set to denied and non-personalized ads are shown.
  • You can change your choice at any time:
    • iOS — Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
    • Android — Settings → Privacy → Ads: delete or reset your advertising ID

Declining does not limit your use of the Service; ads may simply be less relevant to you.

5. Retention and Deletion

  • Analytics data is processed in aggregate form and retained or deleted according to the Google Analytics data retention settings.
  • Advertising data is handled under Google's policies.
  • Records submitted to Game Center are retained under Apple's policies.
  • Game progress is kept until you use Settings → Reset progress in the game, delete the app, or delete the app's data from iCloud.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 (under 13 in some countries, such as the United States). If we learn that a child's information has been collected, we will delete it without delay.

7. Your Rights

  • Opt out of ad tracking and reset your advertising identifier (see Section 4).
  • Reset progress: in the game, Settings → "Reset progress" deletes the levels, stars, best record, items and other game progress stored on this device and in iCloud. This cannot be undone. Records already submitted to Game Center are managed by Apple and are not affected.
  • Delete game progress: delete the app, or delete the app's data in your device's iCloud settings.
  • Stop taking part in Game Center: sign out of Game Center in your device settings.
  • For any other privacy questions or requests, contact us below.

8. International Transfers

Because of the nature of the third-party services (Google, Apple), information may be processed on servers outside the Republic of Korea. Each provider applies safeguards required by applicable law.

9. Security

We apply reasonable safeguards, including minimizing the information processed, using trusted third-party services, and encrypting data in transit.

10. Changes to This Policy

This policy is effective as of September 27, 2026. We will post any additions, deletions, or changes on this page.
